ABOUT THE IMPERIAL CHURCH

The Imperial Church, follows the Imperial Faith, which is just that, a Faith based around the Empire of Mankind. It has its roots in Humanism and Sentient Animism. Humanism is the idea that Humanity itself is sacred, nothing in the Universe quite compares to the Human Condition. The Human condition is the pinnacle of evolution, designed in atomic slot machine, we are the jackpot that the universe dared to roll. Humans are beings that are the perfect combination of rational thought and emotional thought, every creature is compared to our Sentience. While our second root term is Sentient Animism, which is a subset of Animism, which is the idea that every living creature has a spiritual counterpart. The easiest way to describe this notion is that universe exists because of two almost completely identical parallel universes interlace. The first universe is the material universe which is the one we see and interact in, the second could almost be considered a byproduct of the first and that is the inmaterial. Everything that has life, which is defined as a interaction that fights against entropy forms a small signature in the inmaterial. Other religions define this as a soul, or spiritual energy, but for most all of life it serves to just create white noise(using an example of probability distribution if there were a way to listen to immaterial signatures) in the inmaterial. However, some creatures, for example Humans create sentient signatures. These signatures differ in the regards that they could be actually distinguishable from the white noise that all of the rest of life creates. These signatures contain what many theologists would call a soul, the aculamitive energies that contain the essence of a sentient creature, our hopes, aspirations, the things we love, the things we hate, and our mind. All of us believe in the Emperor in one form or another, some claim he is the aculamitive desires of all men forming its own pool of energy in the inmaterium, and some believe he is a physical being formed alongside humanity, by humanity to protect and lead us for eternity. While many other religions claim that they have proof of their validity, we do not. Faith in and of itself is the “complete trust or confidence in someone or something.” To prove attempt to prove faith is a paradox, it is proving something that cannot be proved. The Imperial Church merely exists as a bastion of hope, and a beacon of light for Humanity in what all of our true aspirations are, which is unity, progress, and existence. We do not attempt to go against our nature, because to go against our nature is a sin against our being. To follow our nature is to have a perfect balance of our rational and emotional minds, to tip the scale one way or another creates animals or machines. We strive for one goal, and that is to claim Humanity’s birthright, which is the Universe itself. How fitting for the once captors to fate to spit in the face of chance and conquer the universe and ride out the waves of time until everything ends, and all that is left is the immaterial.
